🤠 Meet Canby Rodeo Director Gary Warren! 🤠
Gary's connection to the Canby Rodeo goes back to his childhood, growing up on his family's ranch in Redland and spending countless hours at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds through 4-H, horse shows, and saddle club activities. He fondly remembers watching the Canby Rodeo during those early years, while his family was closely connected to many of the rodeo's original organizers.
Gary and his wife, Heather, have been married for 52 years and still live on the same property where he was raised. Together they've built a wonderful family with 5 children, 8 grandchildren (with one more on the way!), and 2 great-grandchildren.
After retiring in 2018, Gary joined the Canby Rodeo as a volunteer in 2019. Today, he oversees the VIP area, helping create memorable experiences for contestants and sponsors alongside his family and dedicated volunteers. Now in his second year as a Rodeo Director, Gary enjoys working with the committee and Fair Board to bring an exciting rodeo experience to our community. One of his greatest blessings is serving on the rodeo committee alongside his son.
Thank you, Gary, for your dedication to the Canby Rodeo and the traditions that make it so special!
