Thank you for sticking with me in my absence - here are some bullet points of my summer thus far!

Hi Everyone!

After disappearing from social media for the last 2 months, it's time for me to rejoin the online world and share what on earth has been happening over here & all of the things I've been planning!!
- Fair warning, this post is more personal and newsy than usual!

This year, I took on prom/wedding alterations for a suit store and let me just say WOW. Never have I ever felt like I might actually drown in suits, but this spring, I thought I just might. Thankfully, with a ton of coffee (like, a LOT) and determination, we saw it through!!

In June, I dialed back on alterations and kids clothing slightly so as to not pass away from sleep deprivation.
In the time where I have dialed back on some of the physical work that I've been doing, I have been booking all of my holiday markets coming up!

You will find me at my usual holiday markets plus a couple of fall ones. With my new workload, I've found that I can't book too many markets out into summer while also maintaining the integrity and quality of my work. So you may see me at a few less market this year. Quality over quantity over here!!

In the month of July, I planned on getting ahead working on fall designs but God had other plans - we had a family emergency that arose so I did have to take some of my time off to help keep everything running smoothly on my family's farm & business. Not to worry, everyone is still here and recovering and that's what matters.

As we approach August, I am leaning completely on the Lord because goodness knows nothing else will work.
Look out for updates on my fall and winter events, as well as the other things I've been working on, but haven't had a chance to share!!!

Having worked with Emily before, I was delighted when she contacted me asking about the possibility of creating another dress for her to wear onstage.
Loretta was such an icon, with her flowy dresses and voluminous sleeves, creating a look based on what she would have worn is such an honor, and Emily is so sweet to work with.
She knew immediately she wanted minty pale green and sent me her inspiration photos and we got to work.
We ended up ordering our base materials from and some beautiful lace applique from
The end result was a wonderful gown, perfect for shining onstage and off.
