Let's take a look: their employees work grueling, inhumane hours, are pressured to meet unreal production targets, and face steep pay deductions for minor mistakes. In some cases, their pay is withheld for an entire month if they fail to meet quotas. Furthermore, the materials used contain harsh chemicals that harm both our well-being and the environment. It’s no secret that these items tend to be disposable, which is why landfills are overflowing with these products after a single wear. Shockingly, despite their denials, evidence suggests that 15 and 16-year-olds are among the factory workers. I know we all love clothes!
