Sixty years ago, in March 1963 the movie "Il Gattopardo" (The Leopard) directed by Luchino Visconti was released to the public and it had a great success. In the same year it won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. The movie is based on the romance written by Tomasi di Lampedusa and titled "Il Gattopardo".
Both the book and the movie can be defined proper masterpieces, they describe Sicily in the period before Italy became a united nation (1861).

In 2020 when we moved to the country-ish of Pennsylvania where we bought (what we hope will be our forever home (coming soon...), we began renovating the cottage house on the property, before anything else, for my sister in law who we call "Nauntie Ali," because we are lucky enough to have her help out with our daughter, Ever. My sister in law lived here for almost two years before putting down her own roots in Pittsburgh and moving into a place in the city.

With change already in the air and the function of this space changing I felt the need to give it what I am calling a "REMIX." My personal homes tend to be where I like to experiment and get creative and that's exactly what I did! And for those of you already wondering....YES....I did end up keeping SOME of the coffee stained walls!

I am retired in Cape Coral.
My sewing Days are over. I would like to Thank everyone I have had the honor of working with during my 50 years of sewing.I am so grateful to all of you believing in me.I thank God for all the talent he gave me, an all the Angels that helped me through endless nights of sewing. I wish I had 50 more years to give to a profession I loved... God has a better way it's called Retirement Thank you an God Bless..😇❤❤❤❤
