It’s that time 🫢 I have one million thoughts in my head (at all times &) about this. I have thought about it for years, if I’m being honest. Every time I’ve felt like throwing in the towel, God sent multiple people telling me how much they love the shop on the very same day—how it’s their first stop back in town, a comforting safe space, their favorite place to visit, etc. If you were one of those people, thank you. It wasn’t time then, but I think it is now. I will absolutely miss the stars aligning for me to meet some of you, & there are conversations in this building that I will carry with me for the rest of time.
I am happy that I feel destined for more. I do still love supporting small brands + artists, and I hope you make your own conscious decision to continue this. I know that it’s not my responsibility to make you think before you buy, but I believe society’s focus on materialism is leaving us empty. I no longer wish to contribute to that.❤️🩹
I have learned so much (good&bad) and am grateful for the experience + your support throughout the years. I’m truly very excited to close these doors & start my next chapter. I look forward to how this brand will shift & the fun things to come. It’s not the end, just a new beginning! Our last day open in The Indie House will be 5/17. 🫶🏻
