Independence Run and Hike is the perfect mix of a specialty running store and a small town rocky mountain outdoor/hiking store. We are located just off of Hwy 82 near some of the best running and hiking trails in Colorado. The store is in the classic rocky mountain town of Carbondale, just 35 minutes from Aspen and 15 minutes from Glenwood Springs.

⏰ Registration opens at 5 PM | Events begin at 5:30 PM
🎟 Adults: $25 | K–12 students: FREE!

Choose as many events as you’d like, including sprints, distance races, relays, long jump and shot put. Plus, don’t miss a special Track Talk at 5:15 PM with former CU and professional track athlete Carrie Vickers!

All proceeds support the Roaring Fork High School Track & Field Team. Come race, cheer and help support our local student-athletes! 🐏💙💛
