I have a little story to tell.
As many of you know, I did a collaboration on a wand with my excellent jeweler friend, Byron. When it came to deciding how much to charge for it, I was hesitant, not really having any idea how to price it. On Saturday, Planet Comicon Kansas City is in full swing. This lovely Hufflepuff, Angel, comes up and starts looking at my wands. She introduced herself and I recognised the name as having liked some of my posts. The conversation came around to the silver wand and, after telling her of my slight dilemma in pricing, I said to her "It's probably gonna go like this; someones gonna come over and hand me a hand full of cash and say "this is mine" and that's probably how that wand will sell." We giggled about that, spoke a little more and she leaves.
About an hour later (I really have no idea how long it was), Angel has returned! She hands me $300, takes the wand and says "This is mine!"
It was all I could do to get out "YES IT IS!" through the laughter.
