Another extra special hat heading to Alice G's Artworks + Delectables! The featured print was upcycled from a vintage tablecloth a friend gave me, and it had so many delightful features that I decided to create a couple appliqué pieces for the opposite side. The bird wasn't originally standing on a flower, but it looked strange floating in midair, so I cut out the flower and pieced them together. Kelly green is my favorite color, so I admit I'm a bit partial to this beauty 🥰

This gorgeous patchwork hat features upcycled and secondhand fabrics, and it reminds me of the Burberry designs that were popular in the 90s. If I spotted a hat like this in a vintage shop, I'd be racing to check it for stains or tears and then bringing it home with me 🥰 The soft, brushed olive on the opposite side makes it the ideal hat for cooler autumn temps. I absolutely adore how this one turned out, and I hope someone at Alice G's Artworks + Delectables loves it just as much as I do!

It's becoming exceedingly difficult to not play favorites with my autumn collection. This vintage-style floral paired with a goldenrod corduroy is perfect for nature walks, fall picnics, and strolling through the shops with a pumpkin spice latte in hand. Are you counting down the days until fall drink menus hit the shops? A friend shared Valley Bistro's lineup today and it looks delicious! What's your favorite fall beverage?

This hat features all your favorite sips, including pumpkin spice latte, chai tea, cinnamon coffee, apple c***r, and anything else you can imagine! Paired with a cozy plaid flannel, it's a gorgeous way to celebrate the season. Yet another one I wish I could keep for myself! Maybe I just need to make fall-themed hats year-round 😅 A lovely addition to my fall collection heading to Alice G's Artworks + Delectables!

I love a good transition piece! The light blue is perfect for sipping lemonade on those balmy summer afternoons, while the fall print invites you to savor a hot c***r by the fire pit. Its gorgeous pattern includes birds, leaves, mason jars, and sunflowers, which remind me of autumn hikes and crafting 🍂 🥾 🍁

When cutting the blue fabric, I realized it was very lightweight and wouldn't hold its shape well, even with the interfacing I usually use. Thankfully I have experience with using HeatnBond to layer fabrics, so I was able to create a hat with the designs I wanted while making sure it was still structurally sound. No one wants their hat drooping in their face as soon as a drop of sweat hits it!

This beauty will also be heading to Alice G's Artworks + Delectables for the fall season 🥰

I ❤️ all the fall things! This chunky olive corduroy paired with a harvest print featuring pumpkins, orange slices, cinnamon, and star anise is absolute perfection. I can practically smell those scents simmering on the stove! My husband saw it and said, "You should keep that one!" My friend Cathy fell in love with this vintage floral print when I used it for one of my Alice G's hats 🥰 So she came over one afternoon to get measured, try on hats, choose her fabrics, and chat for a while.
