Hello fellow Carmel Valleyites? Carmel Valleyians?

We’ve got some serious challenges ahead of us in the coming years e.g. the county planning for 1,350+ more houses in the valley, more traffic, loss of wildlife and the need to protect our way of life, preserve our rural community, keep locals here, etc…

One thing that’s been in the works recently is the county’s plan to buy the Carmel Valley Athletic & Social Club on Robinson Canyon Rd from the school district with plans to move it to a different location. It is one of the most historic buildings in Carmel Valley and there are a group of us who have been working to keep it in place, preserve it and hopefully eventually have it deemed historic. Right now it is unclear as to what will happen with the building. We will know more in the coming days.

Carmel Valley is an incredible place and we are very lucky to live here. I’ve always wanted a Carmel Valley T-Shirt and I’ve never been able to find one, so I created one with my little side company that I have for fun. My main job is as a real estate agent here in Carmel Valley, the Monterey Peninsula and in Big Sur.

I’m selling this shirt on my Etsy site and I will be donating all the money earned from the Carmel Valley T-Shirt to causes that I support in Carmel Valley e.g. keeping in place and preserving the Carmel Valley Athletic & Social Club, donating to keep the hiking trails on the Carmel Valley side of the Ventana Wilderness open, pushing back against overdevelopment, donating to wildlife organizations, etc…
