It’s my 10 year birthday/anniversary of my private practice today.
Thank you for the trust and confidence the friends, family, and professionals have shown to me.
My top 10 in 10 years…
(1) Leaving the hospital to start my own clinic 8/22/2014.
(2) 10 years of success seeing over 2,000 patients; moms, babies, children, adults.
Patients are the ❤️ of my business.
(3) 2015 Expanding my skills from feeding to teeth, airway, myofunctional therpay, and working in an orthodontic office. Many myo courses and conferences over the 10 years. Indy Feeding and Myofunctional Therapy begins.
(4) 2016-2021 lecturing and teaching with Masterclass to help others learn feeding and oral skills.
(5) Going from home visit only to combined office and home visits in 2017.
(6) 2018 Going back to school for my family nurse practitioner degree. Increased my knowledge, skills and the ability to diagnose, treat, prescribe, offer frenectomy, and Peds well/sick visits for the benefit of my patients.
(7) 2018-2019 contributing author to the book Tongue Tied and lecturing at conferences.
(8) 2020 survived business during the Covid pandemic. Stayed open in office and made home visits. First time to have pediatricians calling to ask for baby visits due to inpatient and outpatient clinics closed.
(9) 2021 graduated my nurse practitioner program while being a mom, wife, all while continuing patient care during preceptorship.
(10) 2021 Expanded and moved to a new office space Oh Baby Spa. A 2100 sq ft office and studio space.
2021-current Started Advanced Clinical Care and Lactation Therapy courses with my teaching partner Maya Bolman.
