STOP Blasting Your C8 Vents! How to Wash Your Corvette with TruSeal the Right Way! As a fellow C8 Corvette owner, I want to share an important wash-day tip that can save you a lot of frustration.
In this video, Steve demonstrates one of the biggest mistakes C8 Corvette owners can make when washing their car: blasting directly into the rear vents with a pressure washer.
My TruSeal WASH PROTECTION SYSTEM was created to help protect the C8 Corvette engine bay from the water, soap, and mess that normally pour through those open rear vent areas during washing. But TruSeal is a wash protection system — it is not designed to be abused by a direct high-pressure blast.
Please remember:
Do not aim your pressure washer directly into the vents.
Spray lightly from the top of the car and allow the water to flow naturally over the surface.
When used properly, TruSeal helps block approximately 99% of the water that would normally make its way into the engine bay during a regular wash. That means less cleanup, fewer water spots, and a cleaner engine bay after wash day.
If you own a C8 Corvette and love keeping your car beautiful, this is one of those small washing habits that makes a big difference.
