Valentine’s Day wax melts being made this weekend!

2:35 am and still up and at it packaging wax melts for this weekends South Knox Elementary PTO annual craft show! I’m running out of surfaces to let bows dry. 🤣 They are so time consuming to make but so gorgeous! If you’re from the vincennes area stop by sometime between 9 and 3 and say hello and check out my wax melts and all the other vendors with handmade items, and if you’re not from the area make a little day trip to southern Indiana and come check out the craft show! I will have a pretty nice setup- I’ll have a fragrance testing bar and little menus where you can circle what you want and me and Avery will get your melts and bag them up for you. We’ll also be taking credit and debit cards and my melts are $5 each or 5 for $20. Great little gifts for secret Santa exchanges, for family, friends, neighbors, etc.

This morning I had to take Alfie to emergency vet care and he is not well. We’re dealing with a blockage, UTI, gland infection, dehydration,
and diabetes. Diagnostic testing is costing thousands and treatment will as well.

Would you please consider giving if you are able and share if possible? Don’t think I’ve ever asked for anything but I do help when I can so hoping this comes back full circle.

I was just reading about the hiker who was found murdered in Arizona. This is a fairly new case, but from what I gather, she was attacked from behind with a pocket knife.

I do not operate by business to make a profit. My profit is little to nothing and is only enough to keep the business running to pay necessary subscriptions, fees, and to stock merchandise. I do this because I’m sick of seeing all the attacks and abductions and murders and want to do my part to help mitigate your risks. Soon, my website will also feature a blog with my thoughts on self defense and some tips you can use to protect yourself.

This is serious stuff and it is real. Whether it’s thru me or someone else, please provide yourselves with tools to give yourselves a fighting chance. I do not claim it will save you but I’m not claiming it won’t either. What it will do is give you a fighting chance that you might not otherwise have. Think about your friends. Your daughters. Nieces. Help make sure they’re protected. Pepper spray by itself can be effective to help you run. Pepper spray and alarm can help your getaway and draw attention to yourself. Stun guns and kitty ears and kubatons can take your game to the next level. There are many options for tools at your comfort level to give you a fighting chance.

AT MINIMUM please protect yourselves with pepper spray and a whistle. Whistles are a buck on my site and I believe pepper spray is $7.

Do not wait until it’s too late. Give yourselves the tools to have the fighting chance you deserve.

This weekend I’ll be working on homemade bath bombs, shower steamers, soap slices, and wax melts to put in the Etsy shop. They’ll be on the boutique Etsy shop until I get my soap branding set up.
