And finally, I have been so blessed to have others who have allowed me to help create the dress or outfit they have dreamed of. These are a few including a vintage dress (mother to daughter), back cut out, vintage prom dress, grandmother wedding dress made into grandchild christening gown, kids costume from a picture and a gift to brighten up a friend during Covid.

Hard to believe it's been 3 years since my last post! Time definitely flys by when you are doing what you love to do. These last years have been filled with plenty fun and challenging bridal requests. When I reached over 600 dresses and 93 in just October alone I stopped counting. The following posts are just a sample of some of the work I was blessed to do.

The year wouldn’t be complete without at least one or two crazy projects. Halloween is always a great excuse for making something a little out of the ordinary, but to do it at Christmas time well that’s even more fun. I am Very blessed to have a husband who is such a great sport and will usually wear what ever I whip up! Wishing everyone a a Happy New Year and look forward to posting more great projects in 2019.

These bridesmaids couldn’t decide on just one style so each of them picked a design that they felt complemented them the most. By using the same material I created their own look from pictures they forwarded to me.

This next dress was probably the biggest project I did in 2018. This bride decided to change the dress for her summer wedding. After working with her wish list, this is what we came up with.

This bride wanted something old and something new so I took her mother’s veil and turned it into one that fit her sunflower themed wedding in the fall. I also added a little bling to her beautiful lace vintage dress. And of course a bustle.

Another lovely gown which required only to be shortened and bustled, but oh my the layers !! I think she had 10 layers around the bottom of this dress.

Looking back at 2018, there were quite a few weddings and I loved all the different work they required. This was a beautiful gown the bride wanted more beaded work and straps added to, along with a bustle.
