St.Vincent de Paul Thrift Store was opened in the 1970’s by the efforts of Casper’s Catholic Community. Hundreds of Casper Christian volunteers have kept the little brick store open for over thirty years. The store has served as a community center in North Casper and from the store profits has fulfilled its mission to contribute to three vital human services agencies serving Casper, Seton House, I
nterfaith and Holy Cross Food Bank. The store depends on donations of gently used items, clothes, books, and household goods that can be recycled and utilized again. The store has been blessed with volunteers from all denominations to sort, price, display, cashier, clean, pick-up, haul and serve the customers that have depended on the store to fill their needs. The voucher program allows the above mentioned agencies to assist needy people with items from the store at no cost.
