Hey y’all. I just wanna start with a huge THANK YOU for following Petal and Brim. I thought it was time to finally introduce myself.

Hi, I’m Whitney; a mother, wife, dreamer, maker, mental health warrior, and artist. Some small interesting facts about me…..

* My first and most important job is being a mommy to my beautiful 4 year old, Eleanor. She’s my best friend and my inspiration to always be the best me.

* I’m married to an amazing man who I have been with for 12 years. He encourages my dreams while keeping me grounded. He is a hard working husband and father and he serves on city council, so if you have a complaint take it up with him.

* I’m awful at social media

* I was a licensed cosmetologist for almost 16 years before deciding it wasn’t what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

* I started this company on a sort of dare from one of my best friends after I quit doing hair. She gave me a hat and said ‘you can do this’……and I did 💕

* All of my art is done by hand by me. I’m a one man show (sometimes a s**t show) But even if I tried to replicate something it will never be the same twice so EVERY SINGLE HAT is unique, just like you!

* Creating art has filled a part of my soul that I didn’t know was missing, so thank you all for letting me share it with you!
