Meet Micaiah, owner of Restore and Rework. Micaiah is so local, she was born in Castro Valley and grew up three streets away from where her business is located. "I love the community in Castro Valley. People here are so supportive for our small businesses," she said. Restore and Rework has a wide variety of antique and vintage items and specializes in transforming forgotten treasures into stunning sustainable decor. Hard to believe this was the same table. This was definitely a challenging custom but I’m so happy with the results. At my final breaking point, I joined group to help ground me back to my restoration skills.

Sometimes clients ask me to paint antique furniture. As much as this hurt to paint, it turned out stunning. Seeing it placed in her home and see how perfectly it complimented all her new home furnishings, it was worth it.

Huge shoutout to my brother-in-law for polishing all the hardware/accents!
