Doors are open.

The red porch light is on, the old fashioneds are flowing, and Fiorella Friday is officially underway.

If you’ve been thinking about coming by, consider this your sign. Take a lap around downtown, stop in and say hey, grab a drink, check out what’s new, and spend a little time with some good folks.

We’ll be hanging around until about 9-ish… normal Texas time.

I’ve spoken to the powers that be and don’t worry… they assured me the rain is going to stay away again.

So here’s the plan.

We’ll have the doors open by 3:00, the old fashioneds will be flowing later on, and we’ll be hanging around until about 9-ish… depending on how the evening goes.

Come out and take a lap around downtown, do a little shopping, catch up with some folks you haven’t seen in a while, and wander into whatever trouble Fiorella Friday has planned for you.

We’ve got new shirts, new hats, fresh coffee, and a few things we’re pretty excited about around here.

There are a few things that are almost always within arm’s reach.

My notebook. A pen. A handful of business cards. Usually a list of things I forgot to do yesterday and need to get done today.

This is the original prototype for the Boerne EDC Pocket. The one that rides around with me every day. It’s been stuffed in pockets, tossed on counters, dragged to trade shows, coffee shops, and more than a few meetings.

The leather’s picked up some scars along the way, which is kind of the point.

Inside is a notebook, a pen, business cards, and a few odds and ends that don’t need to live in my wallet but still need to come along for the ride.

Not everything around here starts as a product. Sometimes it starts as me getting tired of carrying something the wrong way and deciding to make a better version.

This one just happened to stick.

Getting ready for Fiorella Friday.

Most folks see the finished shirt hanging on the rack. What they don’t see is all the little stuff that happens before it ever gets there.

Neck tags. Folding. Sizing. Pricing. Making sure everything is where it’s supposed to be before the doors open.

Nothing glamorous about it, but it’s part of the deal.

We’ve got a stack of new shirts making their way through the workshop this week so they’ll be ready to hit the shelves for Fiorella Friday.

This week is the first Friday of the month, so you know what that means…

Fiorella Friday is back.

The Old Fashioneds will be flowing, the sidewalks will be full, and we’ll have the doors open late here at Overholt Supply Co.

Now before anybody starts sending screenshots of the weather forecast, let’s all remember we’re talking about Texas. There’s a good chance it changes ten times between now and Friday afternoon, and then does something completely different anyway.

So go ahead and make plans.

Come stroll downtown, grab a drink, do a little shopping, and spend an evening in small-town Texas the way it ought to be.

We’ll be here from 3-9 PM, with the festivities kicking off around 6.

Rain or shine, we’re open.

On Friday the 22nd we’re hosting the Kaffee Klatsch over here at OSC. Things kick off at 8:00 AM Central Texas Time… yep… the morning version of 8 o’clock. We know that’s early, but honestly that’s kinda the whole point. Slow down for a minute, drink some coffee, eat a baked good or three, stand around and talk about whatever small town folks stand around and talk about before the rest of the world wakes up.

We’ll have coffee flowing, baked goods out, good company, and probably a few people pretending they’re way more awake than they actually are. So swing by before work, before errands, or before you decide the couch was actually the better option all along.

Good coffee. Good company. Small town stuff. See y’all on the 22nd.

Another design day over here at OSC… started messing around with this little trash panda and things escalated pretty quickly. Ended up making two versions because apparently we couldn’t leave well enough alone. We’ve got plans for this guy too… shirts, coffee mugs, whiskey tumblers… maybe stickers… maybe patches… honestly who knows where he’s gonna show up at this point.

One thing is for sure though… the “Make Good Choices” raccoon absolutely does not look like he makes good choices. Which honestly makes us trust him even more.

Which colorway are y’all going with? The red and gold or the black and cream?

Sometimes I end up going down some random internet rabbit hole looking at old signs, old packaging, old mercantile logos, old whatever… and every now and then I stumble across something that makes me want to try a different direction just to see if I can pull it off.

This design is one of those.

Wanted to add another Castroville shirt into the mix, but make it feel a little different from some of the stuff we’ve done before. A little more old mercantile. A little more weathered Texas general store sitting out on the edge of town somewhere.

So here it is.

Still tweaking a couple things, but this one will drop with our usual first-of-the-month release along with some other new stuff we’ve been working on around here.

And yes… before y’all ask… it’ll come in two colors.

Alright… you know the two post rule around here. We usually try not to flood the feed unless it’s worth talking about… and this one’s worth talking about.

We decided we didn’t feel like cooking tonight, so we headed out to to see the new owners, Erin and Preston… and listen y’all… if you haven’t been in a while, or maybe somehow you’ve never been at all, you need to fix that.

Good food, good people, cold drinks, and the kind of place that feels like Texas when you walk in.

Small towns only work when people support each other, and we’re big believers in that around here. So next time you’re trying to figure out dinner, skip the chain stuff and go see ‘em. They’re gonna do some really cool things out there.

And yes… the spicy fried chicken sandwich still hits.

Alright… we know it’s raining out there… that’s exactly why we put on a pot of Porch Swing Pecan this morning.

Seems like the right kind of day for coffee, wandering around a shop for a bit, and finding something you didn’t know you needed until you saw it sitting on a shelf.

And hey… tomorrow’s Mother’s Day. So if you’ve waited until the last minute like a lot of us tend to do… we’ve got you covered. We’ve got lulubelle Co. tumblers she’ll love, candles, mugs, and all kinds of stuff that looks a whole lot more thoughtful than panic-buying flowers at the grocery store tomorrow morning.

So come on in, grab a cup of coffee, dry off a little, and hang out for a bit.
