COLLECTOR'S ALERT PREVIEW-PRELUDE

This rare, highly collectible piece is the 1942 Marcel Boucher "The Sombrero" brooch. It apparently was first shown/advertised in The Los Angeles Times on February 10th 1942. It is marked appropriately with minimal plate loss. Pin in excellent working order.

Full historical context and item details will be added when it is formally available for sale. To avoid "sticker shock" please do some research first if you would like to be tagged. I appreciate everyone. I also enjoy just sharing these amazing pieces that I'm tasked with rehoming. From one collector to another; It is the circle of exquisite taste.

CINER MOGUL 3 PIECE PARURE IN EVC.

Minor call-outs all documented in photos.

NECKLACE: Gold tone Mogul/Moghul aka Jewels of India collar style. The necklace is made up of 18k gold plated stations strung on fox chains. The stations are set with varying emerald green, ruby red, and sapphire blue cabochons with clear chaton rhinestones. Measures 14 3/4" length. Fold over clasp. The necklace is unsigned & not unusual for this well known Ciner piece. There are a few tiny callouts well-documented in photograph. Easy repairs if buyer chooses to fix.

BRACELET: NO CALL-OUTS. SIGNED CINER (NO COPYWRITE SYMBOL). Push-in clasp. Identical construction style/design as necklace. See photos for details. Apx 7.25-7.5" open; 7" clasped.

EARRINGS: EVC. Unsigned but 100% part of this parure. Some vintage patina at clip mechanisms. No verdigris. ONE earring is missing 2 small clear chatons at tips; well-documented in photographs. Clips tight. Just under an inch left to right and top to bottom.

HAPPY HUMP DAY JEWELRY LOVERS! I would like to acknowledge and thank everyone who has commented and messaged me on various items I gave "preview pics" on. I'll have my hands on them again tomorrow as they head back to my "office" with me for independent inspections. The Ciner Mogul parure has peaked the interest of several buyers, each asking a price. This leaves me in a pickle because I need to do "right" by my consigner too. The other item with several inquiries is the Joseff of Hollywood Camel. It is in excellent vintage condition and believe it or not, there is still one available on the JOH website! So, this much I can assure you of: I am not seeking the website price because I am trying to rehome this amazing piece to another COLLECTOR. I rarely have items priced for resellers here. I've decided to share the JOH link to their piece to give those interested in my piece an idea of "things". I always come in lower. I also may have to list it as a Deal or No deal item to give everyone a chance.

Classic and very collectible Joseff of Hollywood design featuring a camel cast in berillium at our Burbank location. This piece is accented by multicolor stones and a delicate rope chain lead. Measures 2.5 inches by 3 inches.
