WOW! The last 2 Saturdays at the Downtown Farmers Market have been so much fun! It was great to see old friends and supporters and to be able to introduce A.W.E. to new people.
We are going to have a special sale at the next Market on June 20th. Let us know what items you would like to see featured.

The ladies of A.W.E. have been working very hard to make fabulous new merchandise for The Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers Market!
Market dates:
May 30, June 6, June 20, July 18, August 1, August 15, Sept 5, Sept 19.
You will find us under our purple canopy in stall #11 on 3rd St in front of Cliff's Dive Bar.

We have some exciting things to share with you! We still have our very popular wrap around skirts but now have some matching appliqued t-shirts! Here are a few pictures. Let us know what you think!

A.W.E. just had a fabulous day at Mistletoe Market at Mercy Hospital!
It was such a joy to see so many returning customers who have become friends! They return over and over to help support our mission and because of the quality and variety of our merchandise!
It was also great fun to meet new people and share about African Women Empowered! There is even a Mercy Auxiliary member who wears one of our aprons every year as she works at the show. People always comment on her apron and she sends them to us!
Thanks to Gretchen with the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary and the many volunteers for putting on such a high quality event!! See you next year! Mark your calendar now for the 1st Thursday next November. We'll be looking for you!
