Little House Artifacts

Little House Artifacts Little House Artifacts is an architectural salvage and upcycle business in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

An airbnb is on the second floor of the shop, a space created as much as possible from salvaged materials. Nicknamed "The Heart House," this 130-year-old building was condemned by the city but saved by Tom and Beth DeBoom. An extensive renovation, chronicled on Beth DeBoom's page, created an Airbnb upstairs and an architectural salvage store on the first floor. Both the house and its barn are listed individually on the National Register of Historic Places.

Our Story

Nicknamed "The Heart House," this 130-year-old building was condemned by the city but saved by Tom and Beth DeBoom. An extensive renovation created an Airbnb upstairs and an architectural salvage/curated antiques store on the first floor. Both the house and its barn are listed individually on the National Register of Historic Places.
