We're celebrating Centerville's history today with Archway Days.

Centerville's Archway Days festival started as the Hoosier Celebration '88 in 1988, a celebration that included a parade and activities that set the name Archway Days for the following year. The festival was renamed Archway Days to celebrate the town's five distinctive, historic archways, which were built between 1823 and 1836 to allow access to the backyards of buildings that had encroached on the original roadway. The festival has grown to be a popular annual event with vendors, food, music, and events like a pedal tractor pull and pie eating contests.
