Another bridal moment in the making.
As I sat hand-stitching this beautiful piece today, I felt a wave of nostalgia. Sewing is becoming a lost art, and that thought makes me a little sad. Yet at the same time, my heart is full of gratitude for the patient women in my life who lovingly taught me these skills—how to delicately hand stitch, sew on a button, finish a seam by hand, and carefully stitch lace.
Those quiet lessons gave me more than technique; they gave me an appreciation for the beauty, patience, and care that go into every stitch.
Maybe one day I’ll teach sewing lessons myself—I’ve been asked a few times, and the idea is close to my heart. Until then, I’ll keep pouring love into every piece I create, grateful for the opportunity to help each bride look and feel beautiful on her wedding day.
There’s something sacred about creating with your hands, and I’m thankful to carry that tradition forward, one stitch at a time.
