Let’s clear some things up about tailoring and suits.

Myth: “Tailoring is only for people with unusual body types.” Truth: Tailoring is for anyone who wants their clothes to actually fit. Most bodies fall between standard sizing — tailoring bridges that gap for everyone.

Myth: “Wool suits are too hot for Arizona.” Truth: High-quality wool breathes better than most synthetics. The right wool fabric — especially open-weave or tropical weight — keeps you cooler than a cheap polyester blend.

Myth: “Off-the-rack means it won’t fit well.” Truth: Ready-to-wear can look excellent with the right alterations. The suit isn’t the problem — the unaltered fit is.

Myth: “A good suit has to cost thousands.” Truth: Mid-range suits in quality fabrics, properly altered, will outperform expensive suits worn as-is. Price matters less than construction and fit.
