BIN SCROUNGE!!

We’re doing it again! June 13th from 10am-2pm

Rules do apply:

1) 10 people at a time for a one hour pick through window due to limited space.

2) bring your own 13 gallon trash bags. Fill as many as you want. $20 per bag you must be able to tie it off.

3) CASH ONLY! No bills larger than $20

4) No kids under 16 years old and no pets in this area.

5) be kind, courteous, and respectful. You will be told to exit if you are not.

6) the line will open 10 minutes to the hour. Due to property manager’s policies, no loitering.

We wanted to give a shoutout to Ann Siner and My Sisters' Charities for sponsoring some of Dixie Mae's medical care enabling us to save her!! Dixie Mae is the sweetest girl and was pulled from the MCACC E list a little over a week ago and together we gave her that 2nd chance she so deserved!

Dixie Mae had her hernia surgery on Friday and it was very extensive but she made it through. The vet said it was a femoral hernia which is fairly unusual. They were able to also do her dental while they had her under so she will likely have a rough recovery but at least is done and can now heal and recoup with the help of fosters Dominique Swain and Jamie Harr. Team work makes the dream work!

What a great summer activity for the kiddos.

Read to a shelter dog this summer! ☀️ We’re inviting kids to visit the East shelter as part of Maricopa County Library District's Summer Reading Program. Children will be able to develop their book smarts while helping shelter dogs feel calm, comforted, and enriched.

Participants must be enrolled in the County Library Reading Program, and sign-ups are required to reserve a spot. Parent or guardian (18 years or older) must accompany each child. For more information, visit https://www.maricopa.gov/m/newsflash/home/detail/3688.
