FBLA competed at District 1 Competition today at Pittsburg State University.

Vivian Eagle represented us well with her 2nd place finish in Digital Video Production!

Other members competing and participating in today’s leadership workshops include Ty Kepley (competing in Agribusiness), Rylan Colter (competing in Intro to Social Media Strategies), Amelia Daniels (competing in Graphic Design).

🎄✨ Our FBLA Christmas ornaments are officially ready to order! ✨🎄

We have three styles this year, and they all turned out SO cute!
⭐ Customized Comet C Ornament – $15 each
⭐ Comets Mascot Ornament or Chanute Blue Comets Ornament– $10 each

All ornaments are designed and laser engraved by our CHS FBLA students. Each is made to order and they’ll be finished by December 18th at the latest (likely sooner!).

We do have limited supplies, so once we sell out, the Google Form will close.
Be sure to grab yours before they’re gone!

Please fill out the Google Form—one form per ornament.

Wednesday evening, students from Chanute High School showcased their creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit as part of the Grow Neosho Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge! From creative product ideas to impressive business pitches, these young entrepreneurs showed just how bright our community’s future is.

A huge thank you to all the students who participated, the judges who volunteered their time, and the families and community members who came out to support them. Events like this remind us of the power of collaboration and the importance of investing in our youth. This event was a partnership between Southwind Extension District, Network Kansas, and Grow Neosho E-Community!

This event also marks the kickoff of our YEC season across the Southwind District! We look forward to continuing the momentum with upcoming events:

📍 Fort Scott – December 9th
📍 Allen County – March 5th

Any interest in custom Christmas Stockings?!
These will have to be ordered by Monday Nov. 27th and will be a 5-10 business day TAT. Depending on the amount of interest we will push it to up to 15 business days.

18 Inches Large Size Twist Knitted Stockings. Each stocking will be $20 and will have to be paid within 24 hours of ordering. I will post in the comments the options for the stockings.

You can also do just the custom name patches for $5 a patch
