This den felt dark and heavy, so we stripped it back and started fresh. The brick fireplace and ceiling beams were overpowering the room, so the beams came down and the space instantly felt lighter. Wainscoting was added to dress it up, wallpaper warmed the walls, and new oversized doors now open the room to the porch and natural light. We also opened up the walkways to improve flow and make the den feel more connected to the rest of the house.
A complete shift — lighter, brighter, and so much more livable.
