A vintage tool used for holding fabric while sewing by hand. They were masterfully crafted to be beautiful, but most importantly to be functional and to withstand daily use. This sentiment is at the core of all of our Hemming Birds designs.

LOBSTERS are back!! We released our first lobster bib 9 years ago and they've always been one of our best sellers. When I saw this adorable print by for I knew it had to be our next lobster bib! So here it is - available as a single bib or as part of a bib set or (coming soon!) gift set.

Happy Halloween from the Hemming Birds Family. .ahem, I mean from Professors Dumbledore & McGonagall, Hermione (Yule Ball Edition), Luna Lovegood, and Hedwig (the very adorable owl). Hmm. . are we the first to do a Harry Potter themed family Halloween costume without anyone dressing up as Harry?

I think Halloween might be my favorite holiday - I absolutely love making costumes for myself and my kiddos (my husband always surprises us with his own DIY costume). . it always starts with a trip to Goodwill, then Joann's. . .and generally ends with a bit of frantic late-night sewing and a lot of glue-gunning lol (Hedwig's wings used at least 15 glue sticks - and I ran out of white felt 1/3 of the way in and had to use scraps of material from making Charlie Bibs). Definitely made some core family memories last night ❤️

We designed a version of our HB Pencil Pouch with a washable, waterproof lining . . perfect for stashing all those small baby gear items you don’t want lost at the bottom of your diaper bag or purse.

I have one tucked into my daily carry "purse" (a Oxford Crossbody pack) filled with chapstick, bandaids, hair ties, and a few other random essential I want kept together. Anytime I use a different purse or bag, I just transfer the whole pouch into it. It’s these little things that help me organize my crazy life

This full-size, functional scarf-style bib is designed to fit larger toddlers, children, teens, and adults. . . perfect for kiddos who drool late into toddler-hood, loved ones with special needs, or anyone who may benefit from an bandana scarf that functions like a bib but looks like a fun fashion accessory.

Handcrafted in Charleston from two layers of double gauze fabric, they are twice as thick as our Ollie Bandanas and include three snap settings. We are launching with FOUR colors of soft, absorbent crinkle gauze and plan to expand with more colors and patterns in the future!

Summer is in full swing. . .in between pool days (woah has it been hot in Charleston the last few days!), trips to the library, and a few adventures to visit friends & family I’ve been planning some fun new releases (one new product, lots of new colors and styles of current products!).
