There isn't just one way to become a beekeeper. 🐝

One of the women we've featured inherited a few bee boxes from a friend. Another had a trailer full of bees dropped on her property. Another discovered a swarm beneath her home and never looked back. Different beginnings. Different paths. Different operations.

Yet after hearing their stories, we noticed something remarkable: the women shaping the future of beekeeping have more in common than they realize.

Over the past several months, we've had the privilege of highlighting incredible women from across the beekeeping community, and their stories have taught us so much.

Our newest blog post, What Women Beekeepers Have Taught Us, brings together some of the biggest lessons we've learned from Melissa, Rebecca, and Lauren. Because these stories deserve to be heard. Read it now at the link in our bio. 💛

Not all bee suits are built the same.

Jeometry Beewear™ was built with intention:
100% recycled materials.
Durable, structured fabric.
Designed to be washable without breaking down.

No rusting zippers, no fragile construction, no “replace it next season” mindset.

This is gear you invest in because it’s built to last.

Better for you.
Better for your work.
Better for the long run.

Beekeeping isn’t just about honey. 🍯

It’s about supporting hive health, understanding genetics, adapting to what the bees need, and constantly learning as you go.

Lauren built her work around that idea, focusing on stronger, more resilient colonies and helping others connect with the bees in a meaningful way. Through her Host a Hive program, she’s created a way for people to support pollinators without becoming beekeepers themselves. 🐝

Because the future of beekeeping isn’t just about individual hives…it’s about community.

To every woman learning, building, and showing up in this field, your work matters. 💛

We share more of Lauren’s story, her journey, and the impact she’s creating in her full spotlight feature. Read it now at the link in our bio.

Traditional veils fall forward, limit visibility, and distract you while you’re working.

And when you’re working with thousands of bees…clarity matters.

Jeometry Beewear™ redesigned the veil with a structured “halo” shape, more space between you and the mesh, a design that folds back when not in use.

So you can see clearly, move confidently, and stay focused because hesitation doesn’t belong in the apiary. 🐝

If you’ve ever looked at a photo of yourself in a bee suit and thought…“why does this fit like this?” 🐝

You’re not alone.

After years in the field, Lauren knew exactly what didn’t work:
Suits that were too big.
Too bulky.
Too hot.
And never actually designed for her body.

“I’d look at photos and realize I was drowning in it.” (Second slide!)

Then she tried something different.

“It actually fits me. I don’t look like I’ve been swallowed by a marshmallow.”

And when your suit fits:
You move better.
You stay cooler.
You feel more confident doing the work.

That’s the difference of gear designed for women, not adjusted for them.

We dive deeper into Lauren’s experience in this month’s Female Beekeeper Spotlight. Read the full feature at the link in our bio! 💛

Most suits place pockets high on the torso…awkward, bulky, and hard to actually use.

Jeometry Beewear™ rethought placement completely with lower leg pockets for easy access, double-layered for function and protection, and designed for real movement, not just storage.

So when you need a second, your hands have somewhere to go. A small detail with a huge difference in the field. ✨

Beekeeping doesn’t always start with a plan…sometimes it starts with a swarm under your house. 🐝

Sometimes it looks like:
Driving a bright orange “Bee-Mobile” packed with tools
Balancing a full-time job and hive checks on the weekends
Learning as you go and figuring it out in real time

Lauren didn’t wait until everything was perfect, she said yes and built something from there.

“I like to say I’m a storyteller. I love to tell the story of the bees, every day.”

To every woman carving out her own path in this field…you don’t have to follow a blueprint to belong here. 💛

P.S. We share more of Lauren’s journey, including how she turned one hive into a thriving business, in our latest Female Beekeeper Spotlight. You can read her full story at the link in our bio!

Most bee suits rely on multiple closures. Zippers meeting at your throat, velcro overlaps, and tiny gaps you hope are sealed.

And every beekeeper has had that moment…“Wait, am I fully zipped?”

Jeometry Beewear™ simplified it: One zipper. That’s it.

No confusion.
No overlap points.
No second-guessing mid-hive.

Because protection shouldn’t depend on perfect alignment, it should just work. 💛

Sometimes you find beekeeping, and sometimes the bees find you. 🐝

We’re honored to feature Lauren Donaldson, a Charleston-based beekeeper, storyteller, and founder of Just Me and The Bees.

Lauren’s journey started with a swarm under her house. Instead of removing them, she chose to learn.

“And BOOM…I never looked back.”

Ten years later, she’s built something entirely her own, focused not just on honey, but on stronger hives, better genetics, and long-term bee health.

Through her Host a Hive program, mentorship, and storytelling, Lauren is bringing more people into the world of beekeeping in a way that feels accessible, real, and deeply connected.

This series exists to honor women like Lauren, the ones building something meaningful, doing things differently, and sharing the journey along the way.

Lauren, we’re so proud to feature you! Her full story is live at the link in our bio. 💛
