I don’t think this is a truly stunning realization, but I am far too busy to actually be a content creator. A snapshot of the week with the few photos I did take and plenty I didn’t… Monday meant a grain delivery to our sibling farm and shaving a certain Ram’s balls in preparation for breeding season, grabbing a shelf and a possibly broken toe (not mine) followed by a dress with pants fitting and I honestly don’t remember. Monday night a lovely young woman broken down in the driveway. So they were back and forth Tuesday and Wednesday getting their vehicle squared away. We’ve been dealing with a sick Akula so she went to the vet Wednesday then Dot and I made soap, and I made scrubs later, Thursday was spent in the ER with Rose (shes OK, but still feeling crappy) I’ve been working on the spinning some white Corriedale and setting up the amaranth dye bath so that’s in now.

Am I forgetting things? Yup. I know there were other appointments, I spent time in the garden, dried herbs, infused oil and checked pregnant pigs. I didn’t realize it was Friday.

Anyway. We’ll be at the market tomorrow. Come buy our stuff to support the chaos. :) thanks for coming on the adventure with us!

Mutual aid request! The La Plata table supplies are critically low again. We know it’s super hard for everyone right now.

We will be collecting supplies at La Plata Farmers Market Saturday with , as well as a drop off location at the usual mutual aid spot.

If anyone else is interested in collecting for us as well that would be amazing.

But come out, support your local farmers and support your neighbors. We always need fresh food and the market is one of the best places to pick it up 🤟

Like the bees, we work collaboratively! This honey is coming to you from our sibling location, it’s hand process and lovingly packaged at our homestead. Dot and I always say no one was meant to do this alone and I am constantly amazed by not only the physical manifestations of this but the mental and community aspects of this as well. Be like the bees. But also… support our hives and farms by picking up a jar.

Between my health and now Ahren’s emergency I haven’t been able to work/ hustle as much as normal, and spouse is also away for work.

I’m trying to pull together a little extra to be able to stay at a hotel Tuesday night so I don’t have to drive back and forth Tuesday and again Wednesday (Wednesday is hopefully discharge day. Yey!) and a distraction for Rose.

Not looking for hand outs- we have usual items for sale for farm pick up or local delivery, balms and tallow on sale- $8/ 2 oz, yarns and wool plus chickens, Polish chicks and sheep.
