This brought tears to my eyes.... normally I pull up da gram to be entertained but this is compelling... our lives aren’t valued by those that earn billions from us... 7 shots in the back, close range, in front of his own 3 kids (post birthday celebration for 1 of the kids). This just a few months after George Floyd and Ms. Taylor and brother Ahmad. Just weeks after protests and rioting. And then a 17 year with an AR, given water by police shoots 2 dead. I never took my eyes off of what I knew to be real. Our only value to them is our spending. That’s it!!! I don’t want to hear more chants or see more marches. And I certainly don’t want to read IG commentary from injudicious IG narrators. You want change? Change how you treat yourself, your family and your community. Care about that first and then we’ll re-discover our value and begin to protect ours like others protect theirs.
