A year or so ago a customer asked me to recreate a special embroidered piece her friend had lost, and now, more than a year later, she came back with an even more meaningful project.

She told me about an employee she has that is a super hard worker and was celebrating 1 year of sobriety. She wasn’t quite sure what to do, but knew a scorpion should be on the gift. (He had previously given her a preserved scorpion key ring). After some back and forth we determined a “regular” key, customized, was the best option. This way, no matter what, he would have that reminder with him.

Unique, custom projects are truly some of the most fun and rewarding for me. Keep them coming friends!!

You know you have reached a point of love for something when it ends up in pockets and handbags. So, please excuse me while I go empty all my pants before doing laundry in case other flowers need saving.

Yes, I totally made it black and white to lessen the shock value of the mess. 😂 The Mr needed to do some work in the attic and let’s just say, it’s mostly organized in there but it’s also very full.

So, it led to me pulling a lot of stuff out and then deciding to sort and purge through some of it as I did! There is always more to do, but I can assure you it’s vastly improved since the picture was taken but lots more to go!

Life's been gloomy lately, and I'm trying to create my own sunshine by finding small moments of happiness every day. Amidst keeping busy with orders and the day to day stuff, I am sneaking in time to swap threads and send over designs onto a machine so I can keep the sunshine in my corner of the world.
