These days while I try to find my way out of boxes and piles of stuff everywhere, I also make sure to find joy in the smallest accomplishments.

Shelves are being stocked with back to school items, and you don’t have to tell me twice! Hunted out some of my favorite organizing bins and got my sewing table a little closer to orderly!

Once again I used paper piecing template by Becky Halvorsen it’s always amazing how colors can change the overall look! Who knows what color scheme is next, but I plan to keep going with them!!

Highlights of moving and sorting include…finding old treasures! I’m pretty sure I made this quilted sweatshirt jacket when Katherine was in 1st grade, maybe even kindergarten…it was for letter people day and she wanted to be Miss Patchwork (or whatever the name was!) leave it to mom to make sure she had the “perfect patchwork.”

I admit I totally forgot about his jacket and it brought so many memories back when I rediscovered it. I am sure like many of us, I know I wasn’t always the “best mom” but I do know, I always did my best to create moments and memories with my girls that will live on…
