I want to take this chance to explain Why all these years I have a policy for "customers to pay for shipping charges" when returning or exchanging your purchases, because that is the only expenses (or risk) buyers need to bare for making a purchases from Marc Defang official site. And when we do refund, we refund you original shipping charges too (not overnight or rush fees). That way at least the buyer will click the buy button responsibly.
Here is why I set that policy, see attached photos? these are photos from yesterday, we just received those from AMAZON customer return, Amazon customer buys something, we have to pay for their shipping, and when they decide to return, we pay for their shipping back too. So customers take zero risk for making purchase on Amazon. So when Amazon customers make a return, as seller, we are not just getting the returned shoe back that simple, but we will lose 2 ways shipping fees which can be $20-30 per pair of shoes ON behalf on that customer's decision to buy our shoes and return them, Amazon will not refund the 15% commission they earned from the sale (Amazon is guaranteed earning). We will need to sell many more items to make that money back (that's if buyers do not buy and return like many of them do).
Here is the Bad part, MANY customers actually 'Plan' to buy things from Amazon with 'PLANS' to return after using the items regardless of the condition of the returned shoes.
Below photos are the evidence. 3 amazon returns we received yesterday, and all 3 are worn, one of them even have a nail on the soles. (At this point, I won't even make comments on the customers, I have seen enough, I am not upset neither, just trying to show everyone what I have to deal with as a business person).
This is not new, I've been handling this for more than a decade. That's why I hardly want to sell anything on Amazon. and if you are a genuine fan of Marc Defang, please always try to purchase from our official website. Thank you for your support.
