Earlier this year we had the honor of being featured in SouthPark Magazine for a truly special moment in our journey.

Our team at Myers Park Tailors had the privilege of designing and creating the custom suit worn by Top Chef host Kristen Kish at the 2025 Emmys, a look that earned national recognition on Best Dressed lists.

Kristen came to us wanting a suit that was open in the front. Walid wanted to create something extraordinary for the big event, so he came up with the idea of adding a faux collar, and Kristin loved it!

Thank you to Kristen for trusting us with your vision, SouthPark Magazine for telling our story, and our community for continuing to support what we do every day.

Ever wonder why some suits will last years while others fall apart in months? It all comes down to the "count."

Fabric value is determined by the number of vertical and horizontal thread intersections per square inch. Here is what you need to know to build a wardrobe that lasts:

Check the Count: Quality fabric is graded as Super 110, 120, or 150 based on the density of the stitches.

The Gold Standard: Aim for at least a Super 110 or above for durability and structure.

The Department Store Trap: Many major retailers sell Super 80 or 90 grades. These flimsy fabrics are designed to wear out quickly so you have to keep coming back for replacements.

Invest in quality, not just the brand name.
