I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I’m just glad I had enough faith to walk into it… Imagine going into a city knowing no one and coming out with another place to call home, another place to genuinely thrive. I don’t usually say yes, but my heart stood strong in this position. There was a certain aura that was presented to me through these beautiful people. I’ve connected and had a chance to witness first hand the true meaning of the Gullah experience. Many souls with the same vision.
