Did you know our babies should only wear soft-soled flexible shoes or go bare footed before learning how to walk? 🦶🏻 It’s true! While we might think we are protecting those fragile little feet with thicker or sturdy shoes, we are hindering those tootsies from being able to move freely! Prior to learning how to walk, babies need to develop their muscles in their feet, ankles and legs - so it’s crucial that they can flex and move their feet unrestricted. 🙌🏻 Our soft-soled bo**ies mimic that free feeling of being barefooted, and allow your baby to feel more comfortable and build those little muscles! No more fussy babies kicking off their shoes! ❤️

Dear Madisyn Clarice 💕
You completely changed our lives the moment you opened your eyes. You coo like a puppy, snuggle better than I do, trust us wholeheartedly, and smell heavenly. Madisyn, you came into this world during unprecedented times but shine brightly as a mini beacon of light + normalcy. It feels like a dream becoming your parent, like I’m participating in a 8th grade parenting project with a loaned baby doll. I pinch myself knowing you are mine and cry if I look at you too long. Today, we’re thankful that God has trusted us to be your parents.

38 weeks + 2 days. 🤰🏼
After a small spike in my fundal height last week, we were scheduled for a growth ultrasound today. We discovered that baby girl has had quite the growth spurt!! She is measuring the size of a 40week baby and is already 9 POUNDS. I think any hopes of not having an epidural just flew out the window. 🏳 This momma needs to strap on some sneakers, walk five miles, and do squats until this sweet girl is ready to grace us with her grand entrance. Doctor is scheduling an induction for Sunday, but I’m hoping she’ll make her debut before then. 🤞🏻 I’m curious, what were things you did to get labor started?!

I wanted to do something a little different with our nursery curtains without adding any nails or hardware to the wall! So, I came up with this ‘fluffy’ curtain technique. 🤣 If you try this PLEASE tag us, I’d love to see what you create! ❤️

📢 “Judy, look alive! Judy!”
Anyone get my reference?? 🤞🏻 This little babe in her Fall outfit just melts my heart. Her bo**ie coming unbuttoned just reminds me of a Friends episode, anyone know it? (If not...I shouldn’t be disappointed, I’ve seen the show WAY too many times 😬).

33.5 weeks + counting. 👶🏻 Baby girl will be here before we know it! Last week when we visited a local farm, we had an impromptu photo session to capture this growing belly instead of a classy-professional session. Pre-Covid I had 100% planned on booking a maternity shoot and a possibly a newborn shoot at our hospital. 📸 As we all know, Covid has stripped away so many of the freedoms we once took for granted. One of the saddest things were missing out on this pregnancy is having anyone in the hospital with us. I’m only allowed one person (Scott, obvi), but this robs our sweet parents of meeting our baby soon after she makes her debut. 😢 Another thing we’re just not worrying about this pregnancy is a baby shower. But, I have an idea of something fun we could do here on IG together to celebrate this little babe on the way (and maybe you can win some fun stuff?!)...more on that coming soon! 🤫 All I think about now is watching my cute hubby here transform into a father! 🥰

Double tap if this little man just made you smile. 🥰 I can’t imagine the feeling of your little one looking up at you with such love and showing you their beautiful gummy smile. Pure happiness!

Today, Mom and I ventured out CHRISTMAS shopping. It’s the first time in my life I’ve even thought of Christmas before Thanksgiving is over. But, I’m trying to be smart this year with our little Turkey on the way. I don’t like the thought of ‘skipping’ Christmas because of newborn exhaustion, so trying to prep and have Christmas ready before she gets here! Every day I’m trying to think of ways to get ready for her arrival, and prepping Raspberriez to keep on running. Tonight, I’m reorganizing our inventory so that my packing team (Mom and the hubby) can pack orders easier in case of a rough postpartum recovery.

When did your nesting kick in? I think mine is right around the bend. 🤣

Baby loading... 💬
I’m constantly in awe that a little baby girl is joining our family soon, but when I see her moving around in my tummy I already can’t imagine life without her. We had our first baby ‘class’ yesterday - a virtual Zoom call tour of our hospital and labor protocols. I thought the first class would start some labor anxieties, but it actually had the opposite effect. Knowing more about the process and what to expect is making me more and more excited for our baby’s debut. Now I’m just praying and crossing my fingers that I won’t test positive for COVID when I get to the hospital, or I’ll be expected to wear a mask DURING DELIVERY (now that gives me some anxiety 😳). Yikes. In stories today, I’m asking for your advice. Are there specific questions about labor that I should ask our hospital? Any advice is appreciated and all you mommas know best! ❤️

Meet one of our recent top sellers, a style we nicknamed ‘Tahoma’. Tahoma means ‘large snow capped mountain’ and is the Puyallup tribe’s name for Mount Rainer. 🏔 This style was 100% created by my mom, and I’m so proud of her creativity! She was trying to create a shoe that looks ready for a day in the snow, and I think she nailed it! Our Tahomas feature a crocheted drawstring for easy tying around the ankle, to ensure they stay on the most adventurous of feet!

Stretch marks are a part of life, and why we started viewing them as shameful is beyond me. We put way too much pressure on ourselves, ladies! Your body carried a HUMAN and those silver or pink stripes are there to remind you just how amazing you are. ❤️ What are your favorite products that help you keep your skin healthy and glowing? ✨

Let’s chat baby names! We are 99% sure we have our baby girl’s name picked out, but I’m not ready to paint it on the wall yet. I fear my emotions during labor could completely derail our plans for her name (like Rachel on Friends 🤣), so keeping options open. When you named your little ones, where did you get your inspiration? Did you name your baby after a significant person in your life, select names with special meaning, or simply chose a name you love?!

24.5 weeks and counting. Pregnancy has been good to me, and I’m so grateful to be feeling great and healthy. My poor mom had a horrid case of long term morning sickness with me, that I had prepared myself for the absolute worst. I think she went two trimesters without gaining weight?! (Definitely not the case with me 🤣). I’m feeling great! I’m starting to sense the lower back pull and my legs get tired a whole lot faster than usual, but I know this is only the beginning. I was almost a 10 lb baby - and my husband and I are definitely both on the ‘large human’ size...so very curious (and slightly scared) to see how big our little nugget grows. We are officially into the ‘oh-my-gosh-we-have-so-much-we-have-to-do’ stage of pregnancy. 🤣 We went to Lowe’s today with a list a mile long of random home projects that we need to finish up. Here’s to hoping we get everything done soon so we can relax before baby comes and rocks our whole world. 💕 Any advice on things we must add to our ‘pre-baby’ to-do list?!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
PS: YEP - I photoshopped the mask induced pimples that made a lovely appearance on my chin. 🤣 Three days at home and my face is clearing back up. 😅
PSS: My heart goes out to any of you that have to wear a mask all day long - phew, it mentally wears me right now.
