Diner en Blanc - Charlotte Le Dîner en Blanc is an elegant large-scale picnic from Paris that takes place in a secret location, revealed at the very last minute.

Launched 32 years ago in Paris by François Pasquier and his close friends, Le Dîner en Blanc de Paris continues to bring more than 10,000 people together each year in some of the French Capital’s most prestigious sites. Over the years, the event has grown in recognition and attendance, taking place at the Pont des Arts, the Champs-Élysée, and the garden of the Palais Royal, amongst others. In 2013

, Le Dîner en Blanc de Paris celebrated its 25th anniversary by gathering nearly 15,000 guests at Le Louvre, in the garden of Trocadero, and in front of the Eiffel Tower. Today, more than 70 cities around the world host their own Dîner en Blanc, including Paris, New York, Sydney, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, Kigali, Haiti, Chicago, Philadelphia, Melbourne, Johannesburg, Singapore, Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal. Hakeemah, one of our Dîner en Blanc – Charlotte guests, is a global finalist in the 2025 Floral Crown Contest, selected from more than 80 submissions worldwide. That alone is huge!

These finalists were chosen for creativity, craftsmanship, and how beautifully they interpreted this year’s floral theme. And yes, Charlotte is on the global stage.

On October 10, our Diner en Blanc family lost a bright light. Johnette Karpeh earned her heavily wings.

Johnette was a passionate volunteer who gave her time, energy, and heart to help our community grow. Her social light touched so many of us, and her legacy of community service will live on.

As her loved ones prepare to celebrate her life, we’re gathering volunteers to help support the family. If you volunteered with us between 2023-2025, please check your email or Basecamp for more details and signups.
