Hello everyone, I wanted to hop on here and formally apologize for my absence! Due to a family emergency and some unforeseen circumstances I have not been able to work on any pieces or shop for inventory. Now that things have calmed back down, I have had some time to work on a few things! Stay tuned because I’ve got a stunning Cedar chest I was able to finish this afternoon. Hello everyone!

I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself, my name is Destinie Freeman, owner of The Olive Branch Trading Co. A couple months ago I started redoing furniture just as a hobby, in no time I was in love! So I decided instead of working the typical 9-5, I would take the risk and try to make this new passion, my full time job! I choose The Olive Branch as the name because of Genesis 8:11 “In the evening the dove came back to him, and there in its bill was a plucked-off olive leaf! So Noah knew that the waters had diminished on the earth.”. This scripture signifies a new beginning, new hope, or new life! In my eyes I’m taking something old, and giving it new life or a new beginning. To some it may be cheesy lol but i think it’s fitting! I would be eternally grateful if you all would support and follow me on this new journey!
