If you haven’t guessed yet, I love Memorial Day. It’s always been a special thing for me, going to the cemetery’s and remembering my loved ones. I love the beauty of all of the cemetery’s with all of the flags and the flowers. This year, I was blessed to be able to create 9 floral tributes for your family members. I want you to know how much it means to me to be able to do that. Making them gives me so much happiness. Thank you 😊 💐🌷🌺🌸🌹🌼. These are just two of the arrangements I made this year.

I have an extra arrangement left for Memorial Day. I would love to gift it to someone who can use it. I have chosen a number between one and one hundred. If you would like this one, please comment with your guess. I will tell you if you need to go higher or lower. You cannot guess two times in a row, someone else must comment before you can guess again. My high/low comments do not count as comments. The first person to guess my number wins. The winner is responsible for picking the arrangement up by Thursday of this week. The arrangement is on a short stake, which is not visible in the photo.

I’m already thinking about Memorial Day flowers. Last year, I made a bunch like these to place at the cemetery. If there is any interest, I would make more of these with your color specifications. I also make arrangement in rectangular pots to place in front of the stone. Please reach out to me to place an order.

To all of you, I have a challenge for you. Small, independently owned businesses are struggling. The economy is tough, but we need these businesses to survive. The challenge is…wherever you live, please go out and visit one or many of these small businesses and spend a little money. Spend a little time talking to the shop owners. Please report back with what fun things you were able to find. Maybe your comment will inspire someone else to go out and do the same thing. I visited two shops this morning. Someone asked me today if I missed having my store. I’ve thought about it a lot today. I am totally loving my new job, the people I work with and the work itself, and I don’t miss the stress of owning my own business. I met so many great people over the 4 years I had the store open. That is what I miss. All of you.
