Sunday Closed The idea for Lallygag emerged a number of years ago from Kim Knutson – a former marketing director in Madison, WI whose passion is making people feel comfortable and happy. She dreamed of opening a boutique where people could wander, linger, dilly dally, and daydream, while shop

ping for adorable, affordable clothing. After meeting her future husband, a Rockford-area native, Kim moved to Rockford and enrolled in a small business course. It was this course, the connections she made, and the support of family and friends that helped make her dream a reality. Lallygag opened its “pop-up style ” shop next to "Petals & Pickin's" and "For the Love of Chic" at 4616 E. State Street, Rockford, IL on April 25, 2014. Lallygag searches high, low, and everywhere in between to find small batches of wonderful, unique pieces and offers them at fantastic prices.
