🏡Distance doesn't just affect parents—it reshapes the whole family dynamic.💔
My two oldest daughters live 2,800 miles away in Seattle with their mom. While long-distance parenting comes with its own heavy heart, watching how that gap impacts my younger girls here at home is a whole different layer of the journey. 😢
My little ones miss their big sisters constantly. They ask when they get to see them next, count down the days until visits, and love making drawings or picking out things to send them.
Navigating a split family means helping the younger girls process those missing pieces, while teaching them that love and sisterhood don't stop at state lines.
Between time zones, FaceTime calls, and coordinating travel across the country, we do whatever it takes to keep all four of them connected as sisters. Every shirt I press and every late night in the shop is driven by building a life that brings them all together as often as possible.
To anyone managing a split family, step-family, or long-distance sibling bond: it takes work, but the love reaches through the distance.
