Chester tip sheet for our walkers 👣

If you’ve got a little extra time after your walk (or before, if you're starting in Chester), here are a few of our favorite nearby stops:

• A peaceful stroll through Brookside Cemetery, one of Chester’s oldest and most historic spots right across from Inn Victoria
• Coffee + sweet treats from Mercantile on Main Mercantile on Main, Bakery - Cafe
• Treasure hunting at the Stone House Antique Center

Add lettuce, tomato, onion or spinach! Maybe some basil mayo or Swiss instead of cheddar 😱

Serving breakfast and lunch until 2:30, open until 3 serving coffee and baked goods for that afternoon pick me up!

Chester Town Wide Yard Sales are back!
Memorial Day Weekend, May 23, 24 & 25 , 2026
A map will be printed showing all locations. Your physical address will be listed on the back with your number location.
We are asking for $5 to have your location shown on the map. This will be used to cover the cost of printing the maps.
Your $5 needs to be sent to Kathy Goodell, PO Box 101, Chester, VT 05143 by April 20th to be included.
Maps will be available at Sharon's on the Common and other local businesses in early May.
This event will be a great success. Your donations are needed to get the maps out.
Make sure to include your physical address when you send your check. No names will be printed on the map.
