We had such a fun time leading this workshop Saturday. If you’re not familiar with Friends of Indiana Dunes, Inc., check them out! They do great work supporting Dunes Learning Center, Indiana Dunes State Park, and Indiana Dunes National Park.

On Saturday, February 8, FRIENDS of Indiana Dunes Board Members, past and present, joined the Dunes Learning Center for their fundraising workshop “Stone Wrapping Jewelry”. All participants learned the art of wire wrapping rocks native to the shores of the Great Lakes to turn them into unique pieces of jewelry!

Sisters Julie and Jaime of Creative Designs by J n J (facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083493304663) led this hands-on class that combined nature and crafting to produce one-of-a-kind necklaces.

A good time was had by all, and the FRIENDS were able to help support the wonderful programming by our partner, Dunes Learning Center.
