Local business is what makes small towns run. When you shop locally as much as you are able, more of the people you know benefit from it and the service provided from small and regional businesses is almost always more personal. If you have some grain to sell go with Lakeland Cooperative out of Ridgeland WI. If you have a building project go with Lampert Lumber in Chetek, Ridgeland, or Rice Lake.
