🌸-long but worth the read-🌸
💙Exciting things have been happening at Smith Ag Center over the years! Chad and I have had the privilege of working side by side in one of the most incredible agricultural businesses—truly the best place on earth to work with and for the hardworking farmers and ranchers in our community. We’ve spent more hours together at the office late nights , early mornings and weekends as well as in the field than we have at home over the years. When we were home, our focus remained on finding ways to better serve our customers and improve ourselves. Smith Ag Center has been the cornerstone of our family—the one place our family, friends, and relatives have always known they could find us, most often working togther side by side.
💙As the years have passed, our roles at Smith Ag Center have evolved. For quite some time, we’ve been preparing for me to transition into a more part-time or work-from-home role, allowing me to focus on my health, tend to our cattle, and manage other ventures. This shift has also given our son Ethan valuable time in the office to learn the business inside and out, preparing him to one day in the future years to carry forward Smith Ag Center’s legacy of exceptional sales and service as his own.
💙During this transition, Gabby made the decision to become a stay-at-home mom after the birth of her second child. At the same time, we were fortunate to have Tosha join our team she worked extremely diligent in her short time getting us prepared to roll into our LLC, knowing her time with us would only be temporary until her daughter graduated high school.
💙Now, we are absolutely thrilled to introduce Bethany McDaniel as our new, permanent office manager! She is the perfect fit for our family business, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her on board. From the moment you meet Bethany, you’ll feel like you’ve known her forever. Her bright, cheerful spirit and warm smile light up the office, making every visit to our store a welcoming experience.
💙Smith Ag Center has undergone many positive changes, all with the goal of better serving our farmers, ranchers, and the community we love. While our store may look a little different these days, I’m still actively involved—whether stopping by daily or working from home—ensuring that the legacy Chad and I have built together continues to thrive. Plus I really miss seeing everyone.🥰
💙Looking ahead, I’m excited to launch a monthly series where we introduce you to our incredible employees, family members, vendors, and the products we proudly offer. Chad and I are incredibly grateful to have raised our four amazing children here and to serve the very community that raised us. The future at Smith Ag Center is bright, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
