Today, we shine some light on for her dedication and efforts in normalizing conversations about mental health.

Through her musical project Amy's Tears Tribute, Sally uses the life of Amy Winehouse to call others to action. She encourages people to be open about their struggles with depression and addiction. By giving people the courage to speak openly about their mental health issues, Sally is helping them take their first steps towards recovery. Quite literally, her efforts are saving lives.

Sally, we believe you are a hero. We thank you for wearing courage everyday.

To support Sally's work, you can tune into her livestream concert of Amy Winehouse's music this Saturday, February 13th at 8PM CST. For more information, head to and click the link in bio.

With our newest clothing release "What Kind Of F**kery Is This?" Wear Courage draws attention to the worlds of addiction and depression.

We believe in working towards a reality where people need not be ashamed of their own sadness or substance abuse, but instead openly talk about it and seek the help they need.

We believe this piece of clothing can be a part of normalizing conversations of these issues.

This quote comes from the late Amy Winehouse who struggled with both addiction and depression. Let us be inspired by her art and learn from her death.

In honor of Amy and others who have gone too soon, today February 10th we will be donating 100% of profits to the Amy Winehouse Foundation which helps young people overcome addiction and depression. After today, we will continue to give 10% of all profits to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

We hope this makes you concerned. We hope this makes you want to fight for our planet. We hope this makes you give a f**k.

For the first time ever, human made materials now outweigh all living biomass on earth. In other words, we as humans have created so much mass, from concrete to plastics, that it weighs more than all living things in nature itself. Think about that and let it sink in.

If you look back to the year 1900, manmade materials were equal to about 3% of the worlds biomass. But since that time, every 20 years we have doubled the weight of manmade items.

Scientists have even proposed a new name for this era we are now living in, Anthropocene.

These trends in global biomass are affecting the naturally occurring carbon cycle and human health.

These findings were published in the scientific journal Nature. Find the full in depth report at www.nature.com

Nine people have been put to death this year by our federal government. By the end of Trump's presidency, another 4 people are scheduled to be put to death bringing the total to thirteen.

All first world countries have abolished the death penalty with the exception of three: Japan, Taiwan, and the United States.

The resumption of capital punishment on the federal level came after a 17-year hiatus at the direction of Attorney General William Barr in July 2019.

It is also important to note the United States broke a 130-year-old precedent of pausing executions amid a presidential transition.

We reject the death penalty. It is a barbaric practice that needs to end now.

To live a truth without fear. That is freedom. That is American. That is a human right.

While we have come a long way over the decades when it comes to LGBTQ rights, we still have a long way to go.

The LGBTQ community still faces hardships when it comes to fair treatment and freedom of expression in schools, equal adoptive rights for those seeking to become parents, and equal treatment in the workplace.

Keep fighting. Do not stay silent. Be disruptive.

A place that many Americans might have thought would never exist. It is effectively a refugee camp on the doorstep of the United States, one of several that have sprung up along the border for the first time in the country’s history.⠀
⠀
The members of this displaced community requested refuge in the United States but were sent back into Mexico, and told to wait. They came there after unique tragedies: violent assaults, oppressive extortions, murdered loved ones. They are bound together by the one thing they share in common — having nowhere else to go.⠀
⠀
The squalid tent camp on the border is the result of President Trump’s unprecedented limits on asylum. Some people have waited in filthy conditions for more than a year to obtain refuge in the United States.⠀
⠀
After first cropping up in 2018, the encampment across the border from Brownsville, Texas, exploded to nearly 3,000 people the following year under a policy that has required at least 60,000 asylum seekers to wait in Mexico for the entirety of their legal cases, which can take years.⠀
⠀
The Trump administration has said the “remain in Mexico” policy was essential to end exploitation of American immigration laws and alleviate overcrowding at Border Patrol facilities after nearly two million migrants crossed into the United States between 2017 and 2019.⠀

An important ruling from a federal judge last Friday is a big win for the young people we call DREAMERS.

The ruling ordered the Trump administration to fully restore an Obama-era program designed to shield young, undocumented immigrants from deportation, dealing what could be a final blow to President Trump’s long-fought effort to end the protections.

Up to 300,000 additional undocumented immigrants could be allowed to apply for protection from deportation under this new court ruling. President Trump had sought to cancel the program.

The program, known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), was created by President Barack Obama in 2012. Over the years, it has protected more than 800,000 individuals, known as “dreamers,” who met a series of strict requirements for eligibility.

The picture of a movement. Here is what you need to know about the protests happening in India according to BBC:

Hundreds of thousands of farmers have laid siege to Delhi, India for the past few days, choking almost all the entry points to the national capital.

They are protesting against a recent law that they say is against their interests. The government says the reforms, which open the farming sector to private players, will not hurt farmers.

Unconvinced, thousands of farmers have marched upon Delhi, where they were met by barricades at the border.

As they arrived in a convoy of tractors and on foot, tens of thousands of police and paramilitary troops were deployed to halt their march, leading to clashes with the police.

Warning: this is some f**ked up s**t.

In the past two years, at least seven children died in CBP custody or shortly after being released, many after receiving delayed medical care or being denied care altogether.

In February 2020, a woman in Border Patrol custody was forced to give birth to her baby while standing up, holding on to the side of a trash can in a Border Patrol station near San Diego.

At Border Patrol stations, kids have gone “days, sometimes weeks, in facilities without enough food or toothbrushes.”

In Texas, Border Patrol agents reportedly “took away the children’s blankets and mats,” forcing them to sleep on the cement floor as “punishment.”

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is at the heart of some of the greatest moral horrors of the last four years.

Border Patrol stations don’t have bedding, showers, or staff trained to interact with or assist traumatized people. The ACLU and its partners have documented freezing temperatures and filthy cells where people are held virtually incommunicado for days.

As President-elect Biden enters office, he faces a stark imperative: These abuses must never happen again.
