Tweeds and Wovens are synonymous with the Pluralist Design Ethos.

The production of tweed and upholstery tapestry fabrics allows for any woven thread to be assembled in a grid-like pattern to achieve density, texture, and warmth. Due to the ebb and flow of interior design, often times these textiles go unsold and get relocated to textile discard outlets. Most of these fabrics are graded for upholstery, and are sold in 1x3 yards as opposed to fashioned fabrics which are typically 1x1.

All this to say, if you are a designer just starting out, these high quality fabrics can be sourced ethically at a discount, and are some of the most durable textiles in the marketplace.

Far too frequently, the enigmatic talent pool of Chicago creatives is overly-shrouded by the depicted narrative of media and perpetuated systemic circumstances. However, the closer one dives into the reality of this city, an omnipresent force of creativity reveals; one that possesses the bandwidth to create a new creative renaissance, restore communities, and redefine the Chicagoan identity.

Co-founder of the radiating community , is a walking embodiment of this frequency, and a rightful debut enigma of Pluralist A/W 23.

Pluralist aims to unify creatives as a key principle of mission. Serving as an avenue for creative synergy, we will build the foundation amidst the city of Chicago to allow creatives to fully embody their gifts ~ identity and healing will be the biproduct.
