Hello! My name is Yana and I am the owner of Wispy Whiskers!
I started this business a few months back as a way to share my crafts and makes, connect with artists and customers, and help support Chicago animal welfare organizations. I have three cats and am very passionate about animal welfare and supporting the people behind them. I donate 15% of every sale to local no-kill animal shelters, veterinary clinics, and other beneficial causes surrounding animal welfare.

I love to crochet and have been crocheting since I was 10 years old. I love to experiment with different patterns and sometimes make my own! I’m very fortunate to be surrounded by creative people and friends that commission me to create new and unique products and challenge my skills as a fiber artist.

I’ve seen a great amount of success with Wispy Whiskers, so far solely through word of mouth, so I am so so so excited to finally join social media and really push this project out there for all y’all to enjoy and support.
