From tarnished to shining again ✨

This vintage Louis Vuitton lock and key received a much-needed polish using Brasso—and the before-and-after difference is so satisfying!

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Brasso should only be used on hardware that you have confirmed is solid brass. Some newer Louis Vuitton locks and keys may have plated or coated finishes. Using an abrasive metal polish on those pieces could scratch the surface or remove the gold-tone finish.

Always confirm the material first, use only a very small amount, and keep the product away from the bag’s leather and canvas. When in doubt, leave the hardware as it is or ask a professional.
