Here are the details:
Great news! Transitions has extended the deadline to apply for its Diversity in Optical educational grant program to September 16, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. ET.



Five grants of $1,000 will be awarded to applicants who are recent or graduating high school seniors aspiring to attend opticianry school in the U.S. Also, two grants of $5,000 will be awarded to Year 1 to Year 3 optometry or ophthalmology students attending an accredited U.S. school or college. The grant applicants must also be a member of one of the marginalized groups currently underrepresented in the U.S. optical industry.
