Happy Veterans Day! Showcasing small businesses has always been part of my purpose and passion, so this year I created a business directory to bring attention to small businesses during the holiday season. We all need as much support and promotion we can get, so let’s help each other out!

Do you own a small black-owned and/or women-owned business with an online shop that can ship in the US? Add it to The Black-Owned + Women-Owned Business Holiday List. There is no fee to be listed and you can add your business details, your featured product and deals for Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and/or Cyber Monday. We'll spread this list far and wide.

Rules:
*Your business must be at least 51% owned by an African American or a woman
*No MLMs
*You must be a small business (less than $10M in revenue annually, not a subsidiary or franchise)
*You must be able to ship nationwide within the United States

We honor a woman who cared so much about women’s rights and did so much for us. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg knocked on closed doors, opened them and held them open for others. Ladies...She was our champion.

This really is a devastating loss. She held on while cancer ravaged her body because she knew exactly what is at stake.

This election is MONUMENTAL. So much is on the line. PLEASE vote for your future and the future of so much generations. We have to fight for what’s right! Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg fiercely defended our democracy to the end. That fight is on us now. Honor RGB with your fight for social justice, equality and judicial integrity for all. 💪🏻💪🏼💪🏽💪🏾💪🏿

👉🏼Black History is AMERICAN HISTORY and unfortunately, not a lot of our History teachers in school teach us about Juneteenth, a result of systematic racism affecting our education system.

But now you know, so spread the awareness.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉🏼WHAT CAN YOU DO?
1. Say a PRAYER. Pray for our nation, pray for our Black community, pray for our movers and shakers.

2. TAKE THE DAY OFF. While the Emancipation Proclamation ended slavery, this is a symbolic date represents African American freedom, a law that slaveowners tried to withhold. What's 4th of July?

3. SIGN THE PETITION and let's tell Congress to recognize Juneteenth as a National Holiday (linked in bio)

4. Read the EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION out loud.

5. ONLY BUY BLACK this weekend. Support Black businesses and let's close the racial wage gap!

6. CELEBRATE JUNETEENTH! Find a local or virtual celebration or protest to attend.

7. RESEARCH & EDUCATE. Read on the history. Find out what happened to the Tulsa Race Massacre in 1921. Talk to your family, your friends, your social media reach and spread awareness. USE YOUR VOICE.

8. Keep the momentum going. THIS AIN'T A TREND, this is a LIFESTYLE.
